JAMBO! Karibu Kenya
This morning a customer care representative from Quest Holidays DMC will meet you at Nairobi’s Airport (JKIA) or your city hotel. After a short briefing on the events ahead, greet our expert safari guide and depart for Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. Arrive and embark on a game-viewing drive as you are transferred to your lodge or tented camp for lunch. After lunch, you will have time to relax before heading out for a game-viewing drive until sunset.
Masai Mara, also known as the “Jewel of Africa,” is inhabited by many of Africa's most popular wild animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, cape buffalo, and rhinoceros, as well as giraffes, hippos, hyenas, Nile crocodiles, wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, antelopes, and more.
Overnight - Masai Mara National Reserve
Meals Included - Lunch and Dinner
Other Inclusions - Game viewing, park fees, private transport (4 x 4 Landcruiser), bottled water
Spend the day exploring Masai Mara. During the game drive, our knowledgeable safari guide will introduce you to life in the savanna and share their infinite knowledge about African wildlife. The wildlife viewing is superb throughout the year. Observe massive crocodiles basking in the sun, see the graceful hippos wallowing in muddy water, and catch the antics of mischievous monkeys overhead. Watch, too, as the African savannah elephants roam along the forest edge and spot cheetahs in the open savannah eyeing off their next meal. The yearly wildebeest migration (July to September) coming through the park is one of the world’s most amazing wildlife spectacles.

Today we depart early for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch en route. Arrive and continue with the game viewing drive before later being transferred to your safari lodge or tented camp. Lake Nakuru is famously known for its large flocks of flamingos, which gather along the shores to feed on the abundant algae. The lake is also a significant breeding ground and stopover for many species of birds and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park hosts one of the largest black rhino concentrations in the country. Other Indigenous mammals seen in the park include the spotted hyena, lion, leopard, hippopotamus (in the north-eastern corner), rock hyrax, bat-eared fox, wildcat, golden cat, Bohor reedbuck, defassa waterbuck, colobus monkey, Rothschild’s giraffe, and white rhinoceros.

Your journey now takes you to Amboseli National Park. A scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things – majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro with its impressive Uhuru Peak soaring to 19,341 feet. Lunch en route.
On arrival, embark on a game viewing drive as you are transferred to your hotel. Waters running down from Mount Kilimanjaro create perennial swamps and wetlands that are a feature of the park, and draw the dense concentration of elephants which number over 1000. These lush swamps also attract hippos, as well as buffalo.
Overnight - Amboseli National Park
Meals Included - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Other Inclusions - Game viewing, park fees, private transport (4 x 4 Landcruiser), bottled water
Enjoy your day on early morning and afternoon game drives, crisscrossing the landscape in search of elephants, zebras and wildebeests along the saltpan trails. Climb The Observation Hill which allows an overall view of the whole park especially the swamps which are a centre of activity for elephants, hippos, buffaloes and abundant water birds. The surrounding flat grasslands are home to grazing antelopes. Prepare for predator sightings, as opportunistic animals begin roaming the plains in search of prey. Spotted hyenas are plentiful, as are jackals, warthogs, olive baboons and vervet monkeys.
Overnight - Amboseli National Park
Meals Included - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Other Inclusions - Game viewing, park fees, private transport (4 x 4 Landcruiser), bottled water
Leave Amboseli and depart for Tsavo, Kenya’s oldest national park dating to 1948. Tsavo West offers magnificent game viewing wildlife attractions include elephant, rhino, hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
The biggest attraction in Tsavo West is Mzima Springs. This is a haven for fishes, birds, monkeys, crocodiles and hippos. There are two nature trails leading to an underwater viewing tank. With luck, you’ll see the unforgettably comic tip-toeing of an underwater hippo, or the sinuous, streamlined stealth of a crocodile in motion, as well as the blue swirl of large fish.
