JAMBO! Karibu Kenya
This morning a customer care representative from Quest Holidays DMC will meet you at Nairobi’s Airport (JKIA) or your city hotel. After a short briefing on the events ahead, greet our expert safari guide and depart for Lake Naivasha where a 2 ½ hour leisurely drive will take you through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your hotel and proceed with check-in formalities. You will have lunch at your hotel and enjoy the hotel facilities. Swim in the supersized pool or visit the gym for a workout session.
In the afternoon, take a Boat Safari at Lake Naivasha, the highest lake in the Rift Valley. Fringed by papyrus and with the extinct Mount Longonot as a backdrop, this is a wonderful place to watch and photograph birds. Everything from pelicans to cranes to smaller, more brightly colored birds is on display. The waters themselves are home to wallowing hippopotamuses, and along the shores, you'll spot Cape Buffalo and other herbivores.
You will also visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. Easily combined with the Boat Safari, a visit to Crescent Island offers a rare chance to walk with the animals literally. The island sanctuary isn't home to any predators, so you can safely trade the safari car for your own two feet as you wander alongside zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest!

Lake Nakuru is famously known for its large flocks of flamingos, which gather along the shores to feed on the abundant algae. The lake is also a significant breeding ground and stopover for many species of birds and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park hosts one of the largest black rhino concentrations in the country. Other Indigenous mammals seen in the park include the spotted hyena, lion, leopard, hippopotamus (in the north-eastern corner), rock hyrax, bat-eared fox, wildcat, golden cat, Bohor reedbuck, defassa waterbuck, colobus monkey, Rothschild’s giraffe, and white rhinoceros.
